We’d offer that nothing can be further from the truth - knowing who is making your winch is paramount to safety, trust, and confidence. Far too often in winching, there’s very little transparency on who is actually making the winch. Don’t let a brand name fool you, the winch industry is changing rapidly and here’s what you should know.

There are a handful of manufacturers in the world churning out hundreds of consumer brands (some well known and some lesser known). Very few of these factories make only winches - indeed, many of these factories are making dishwashers, ebikes, generators and more.
