Brushless motors will change winching
Brushless motors are everywhere - electric drills, powered doors and trunks in vehicles and even in pcs spinning discs - all powered by brushless motors. The reasons are simple: brushless motors are designed for long life and ultra-low maintenance.
This year, Novawinch is putting a brushless motor in the new ACE Series of winches, an industrial AC powered winch line. The company claims the brushless motors offer amazing potential with up to 70% less power consumption, electronically controlled motors (vs the costly and finicky solenoids), multiple line speeds and onboard electronics to prevent overload and overheating.
“Brushless motors are a game-changer,” says Jason Zhang, General Manager for Novawinch. “The advantages of these new motors is many and we are thrilled to bring them to the market.”
Cost has held brushless motors out of the hands of consumers as the market is fiercely competitive and very price sensitive. As the oldest complete winch builder in China, Novawinch was able to flex some of that leverage to get access to the latest brushless technology and blaze a path forward.
With patents firmly in place, NOVAWINCH will bring its SYNCHRO™ brushless motor technology to more winches in more markets. From utility to off-road vehicle recovery, there is not a winch that can’t be improved by this technology. With more precise control, faster clean up, reduced footprint size and far less maintenance, we’re changing everything.
