No Short Cuts. Starting with our our exclusive Novawinch-made motor, we selected fat copper windings built in-house by our team of experts. The result is a motor that cools faster and provides more torque. Our drum is machine-welded steel for added strength and a forged spline that transfers power from the mighty gearbox. Our gears are large-diameter steel with deep grooves for better engagement and longer life. Our electronics are top-shelf and sealed to IP68 standards.
The FENIX is built different. You might expect winch assembly to be a “put more people on a line for faster results” but you couldn’t be further from the truth. In fact, the very first stage in assembly is an advanced 6-axis robot that aligns and assembles the motor and brake spring. Further innovations occur down the line: every gearbox is tested for abnormal noise at speed (!!!) and 100% of the winches are tested winch in and winch out before leaving the line. There is no winch line more advanced and efficient than the FENIX Series line.
